Executive Coach

I help individuals make deep shifts in the way they think, respond and show up in life.

About Me

I work with Finance leaders who want to realize their full potential, and management teams who want to move their organization forward.

Unlike other coaches, I have 25+ years of Senior Level experience across multiple industries and functions. As a result, I am not a theorist but am a practitioner who can help find solutions for my clients. I can walk the talk with experience and expertise and can also mentor my clients within a coaching framework.

After a successful career, I decided to give back in the form of coaching and teaching since I care very deeply about supporting people to maximize their potential, whether as business leaders, or as students.

People describe me as tranquil, warm, sophisticated, open-minded and insightful. Born in Pakistan, educated in the US, and now living in Japan for over 20 years, my work and travels have taken me to more than 50 countries across Asia Pacific, Africa, Europe and the Americas. My diverse academic and business experiences coupled with my global citizenship brings a depth and richness to which people are quickly drawn to and where they feel calm and safe to share their growth needs.

I live in Kyoto, Japan where I continue to pursue my other passions as a Professor, and as a semi-pro photographer.

Professional Experience

Prior to starting coaching, I was a Global Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Senior Vice President for a publicly traded USD 5B Japanese company covering approximately 40 group companies. In this capacity, I was one of less than three foreign CFO’s in a Top Tier Japanese Public Company.

I have held management and leadership positions at Ford and Delphi (Automotive), Avon (Cosmetics/Direct Selling), Becton Dickinson (Medical Equipment), McCann (Advertising), and Benesse (Education).

I have also had extensive Board experience as a Board member in over 15 public and private companies across Japan, China, and the United States.

I currently serve as tenured Professor of Leadership and Management at Kansai Gaidai University in Osaka, Japan coaching high-potential students and teaching Leadership, Self-Management, Japanese Business & Culture, and Finance.
