Prior to starting coaching, Arif was a Global Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Senior Vice President for Benesse Holdings Inc., a publicly traded USD 5B Japanese company covering approximately 40 group companies. In this capacity, Arif was one of less than three foreign CFO’s in a Top Tier Japanese Public Company. Arif previously also held leadership positions at Ford and Delphi (Automotive), Avon (Cosmetics/Direct Selling), Becton Dickinson (Medical Equipment), and at McCann Worldgroup (Advertising). Arif has extensive Board experience as a Board member in over 15 public and private companies across Japan, China, and the United States.
Arif is a tenured Professor of Leadership and Management at Kansai Gaidai University in Osaka, Japan coaching high-potential students and teaching Leadership, Self-Management, Japanese Business Practices, and Finance.
